Yes, a capture card as well as the software that would come with it is needed to record clips from your file share or live game play over to your computer. I would recommend heading to your local Best Buy, Circuit City, or any other electronics/computer shop for one and expect to pay anywhere from perhaps $50 to well over a couple hundred dollars. Try doing a bit of research online to find out what best suits your needs given your computer specs (in particular your graphic card) and system hook up. I personally have a Dazzle 100 that gets the job done, but is one of the cheaper models and works well with my ATI Radeon xpress 200 graphics card.

Also, sorry I never got back to you about a montage... if you have enough clips put together, I would consider taking a look at them to see what can be done, but I really haven't had a lot of free time lately to work on such a project.
