Games, of course. Anything, new or retro, but I'm especially interested in those rare games that do something the industry has never done before.

I also enjoy buying/reselling games on ebay or trading on Goozex, casually, to fund future game purchases.

Reading is good. Currently working through some of the Ender books by Orson Scott Card. I also love to read (and write) weblogs, especially techish ones.

Finally, I do enjoy cooking and baking, though I'm not perfect at either. Winter gives me plenty of excuse to practice. I do make a pretty mean carrot cake.

They're all good, but I do avoid the overly violent or scary ones. I'm just too squeamish and/or weak to watch gratuitous violence and be okay with it.

This does nothing to explain how much I enjoyed God of War, though.

Anything. I don't have favorite bands or genres, just favorite songs. I'll try anything once, but I guess I'm a sucker for video game theme remixes.

That, and Rock and Roll. Oh, and your various sub clauses of "metal."

Not trash romance.

New DeathKnox Podcast

**Classic Episode**

Greetings, Internet. I’m Nick (a.k.a. StittyMan) and The Wire’s administrator has invited me to write for this blog. As it’s my first official web journalism assignment, I’m thrilled to help.

Hopefully, you’re also thrilled to read what I have to say.

Gaming has always been a major focus in my life. I can’t remember a time when I wasn’t interested in them. I cut my teeth on the good ol’ NES, and as I grew up and stretched my developmental tendrils into life’s finer points, I found a love for writing alongside my game addiction. Commentary, mostly. Now 25, i’ve finished my English BA and am passionately interested in all facets of the game industry; design, marketing, cultural influence, history, you name it.

Often, my friends stop me, reminding me I’m preaching about the future of Mario Kart with the passion of a crack addict.

Thank goodness for that backspace key. Periodically (per the admin’s salute) I’ll be posting essays and commentary on all sorts of video game topics. I should have the first piece up shortly.

In the meantime, I await your feedback and comments. I’ve set up stittyman@gmail.com exclusively for contact, so I’m opening the table for questions, concerns, or discussion topics. Please, ask away. And don’t make me regret saying that.

I... uhh... I'm working on it!

wtf no

Will find out.

Will also find out.

Hot cinnamon rolls.

Drugs, booze, and being a *****.

Played games since the NES. Haven't played as many as I've wanted to, but that can be fixed.

Team Fortress 2, Fallout 2, Quake, Pokemon (seriously), Donkey Kong Country 2, Mega Man 9.

3.0 ghz single core
2 gigs of ram
256 meg video card, Geforce FX, whatever the highest number was back when the cards were new.
